That's because he never was part of the SJC staff ever. And there never was any plan that would become one.

The Fall program is just another money-maker and that's what KG was doing there. Making money.

People jumped to the conclusion incorrectly that his coaching in this Fall program meant that he would become part of the SJC staff.

per WCAC league rules, anyone who is an assistant coach is allowed to coach the team in the Fall, except for the head coach.

Too bad as it would have been a good hire for the Spring

Who knows. Was he actually part of the STJ staff when he coached in the Fall? I'm guessing no because there are restrictions to coaching your own kids in the offseason.

I'm guessing he was not part of the staff which is why he was allowed to coach them in a fall league.

Not the kid(s), the club itself.

Some college coaches actually coach little guys, too, so they know when they are meeting kids who played for club X, Y, & Z, if they are getting a skilled player or one who plays dirty.

2022 is not competitive and there seems to be a lot of strange choices for the positions kids play.

The coach for the 6th grade and eighth grade is the same. However the 2020 group is a competive team.

Just saw the most horrific behavior from from 2024 Cavalier players this weekend.

Blatantly poking other players in the knees and groin when the ball play was nowhere in sight.
Taunting smaller players for the heck of it. Waiting until refs turned away to whack at the sticks of opponents for fun.

Coaches ignored it. Hmmm..How did they learn that?

Subbed one nasty player out for a worse one. Horrific.

I'd never let my sons play for those coaches. Luckily, some college coaches were there so their reputation will be known ahead of time.

2022s are in 6th grade. The only things parents should be concerned with at this age are good instruction, coaches who are positive mentors and the enjoyment of being on team and making friends. Kids at that age have a lot of development ahead of them, and any parent putting the scores of the games or ranking of the team as their #1 has their priorities misplaced. I don't have kids who play at NL but have heard only great things about the coaching and new organization levels.
