All of this was a 'friendly' way of removing Brave from ECNL.
If the rosters end up being primarily Union with a splash of Brave then yes, besides the 08 age group of course. Time will tell.
What makes the 08 group exempt from all of this?
Assuming PP means 08G Brave. They are the better team head to head with Union - stronger players. I think #4 or #3 in MA. But their roster is small and from what I hear everyone plays most if not all minutes. Might be a shock when they roll up on a 24 person roster.

They’re better than the current Union team.
There are plenty of Brave 10s and 11s who could start on FVU, the question will be what they do.
Not sure on 12s, but without SYC, I believe Vienna’s squad is stronger than McLean’s.
Other than the 07/06 & 09 squads (current Union) and the 08 squad (current Brave), it should be a pretty equal mix. If SYC players head back to Springfield, that changes everything.

Plan for no SYC at 12's or 11's. The 10's were 3/4 SYC and they have had some defectors but this team is competitive so not all SYC is going back for GA. Mainly a ECNL vs GA decision for those '10 girls. So hopefully they make the best indiviual decision exclusive of leagues as that would be a silly way to make this call.

Did he email BRYC and VYS families too?
Why is the Technical Director at GFR sending out emails like that to Mclean ECNL families...that seems wierd..I guess GFR does care about girls youth soccer just not at their own club![]()

I think the coaching slates will tell you which teams will have a majority or close to on, from one club or the other at least on the girls side. No idea about the boys.
