Wasn’t the 2014 and 2015 girls teams #1 when she coached them? Seems like pretty good qualifications.
Winning games with 9 y.o. kids is not the same thing as teaching them to play soccer. As someone just said in another thread, a decent goalie and a couple aggressive athletic kids will get you a lot of W’s at that age. Playing that way doesn’t necessarily develop all the kids on the team to be effective at older ages though. Too much focus on winning at that age can in fact be counterproductive to development.
