When my kids were younger, there was an Arlington coach that did this. Ratted kids out and a few got blackballed.

It was sick. Parents are paying $3-5k—they should routinely check for fit and see what’s out there.

If you are doing your job, you’d welcome competition and be confident your players will stay.

This is not unique to Arlington. All the coaches rat out any players to their current coaches.

It's usually other parents on your team that tell the coach if your kid is trying out or guesting at other clubs.

And scheduled the same night and time as all the boys FVU ID sessions which had already been announced last week, and which are 30+ minutes away from said townhall…

Perhaps a coincidence but it’s not a good look…

VYS not doing a town hall. Unhinged McLean parents

Have any offers been sent? Only received second invite to the ID Session.

I'm sure they have been sent to the players that they really want. Clubs send offers on a rolling basis, top priority to lock down first, then fill in the rest later.

I see you just like stirring the pot. My kid is in an older age group and we are happy with the coaching assignment. The team will only get stronger so we welcome the change.

Wouldn’t he better counting the kids at Arlington ID session?

Hiding in a tree seems like a lot of work.

I’ve heard Arlington has a couple dads like this. Truly strange.
