Only in your dreams. The purpose of those bases was to protect Israel. This was shown during the war. Israel was protected, every other gulf state was severely damaged by the Iranians and the strait was closed. The US kept an aircraft carrier group off Israel’s cost.

Our support of Israel has never lead to peace in the ME (in fact, it has lead to the exact opposite), has never made the U.S. safer (in fact, we’ve never been at greater risk), and has never been in American interests.
