The missile threat is too great to maintain these bases. The US has 27 bases in the ME all for the defense of Israel. Before the war operating these bases was about 1/3 of our total defense spending. We spent less on NATO vs the cost of these bases for Israel.
You're funny. The purposes of those military bases are to secure oil routes, protect allies, counter terrorism, and deter Iran and other regional threats under the US Central Command (CENTCOM) framework. Yes, Israel is one of those allies - but so is the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Jordan. Your fixation on and hatred of Israel is noted.
So wait, two things:
1) Which are those other regional threats that you think so highly of?
2) Without the Israel mafia, the US wouldn't need to ally with any of those other countries.
Stop moving goalposts and arguing about third order effects that only manifest because of the initial problem: Israel.
Sorry, what? Ever heard of Iranian-backed proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis? Sure you have. All three pose a threat to our ME allies, listed above. Interesting that you completely ignore the Iranian mafia, but not surprising.
Again, those are third order problems... That begin and end with Israel.
Oh, BS. The Iranian “mafia” has been terrorizing the ME and US for decades.
9/11 was from our friend Saudi Arabia.

It is highly unlikely Iran will cave due to the blockade.

Huh? Why?
It's indisputable that Israel bribed Trump to get us to fight this war for them. This is all very much connected. Israel is the impetus, in fact.
The only payment I know is from MBS 2billion to Kushner also from UAE as crypto currency investment and Qatar Airplane gift.
I don’t know any payment from Israel.

Only in your dreams. The purpose of those bases was to protect Israel. This was shown during the war. Israel was protected, every other gulf state was severely damaged by the Iranians and the strait was closed. The US kept an aircraft carrier group off Israel’s cost.
It is time for you Israelis to make reparations to the US.

DP So how many Israel back proxies attack Iran?

God you’re dumb.

Israel’s policies and actions have transformed the ME into the epicenter of global conflict. Where those same Israelis previously lived, they created the exact same discord and conflict.
Our support of Israel has never lead to peace in the ME (in fact, it has lead to the exact opposite), has never made the U.S. safer (in fact, we’ve never been at greater risk), and has never been in American interests.
Like billions of others, I look forward to the day when we drop these bloodsucking parasites (and as soon as possible!)
There’s a difference between critique of our support of Israel and stupidly believing that ME conflict begins and ends with Israel.
DP. Not if you look at the history of the Israel and the ME. The US has gone from fighting the cold and free passage of shipping to protecting Israel from any consequences of their actions and oppressing the whole region for Israel. Israel is the problem.
