Aren't there more pressing issues to deal with?
He advocated for period products in every bathroom because of transgenderism. THAT'S what repubs are upset about. Just call it what it is, cowards.
And be crystal clear that you have no compassion for trans kids, who have a far higher suicide rate than average and require support and kindness, not derision. As importantly, how about you just MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.
There are a lot of things to like about Tim Walz but his kindness and empathy are at the top for me. As an educator, he knows the obstacles a hungry belly and issues of social difference pose to learning and achievement. He will do whatever he can to address children’s needs and help them. Sorry the right hates the existence of trans kids but he understands trans boys need period products and supplying them hurts exactly no one. He is a good man. Wish some on the right would listen and learn from him.
Yeah, erring on the side of tolerance and kindness is so hard for these people.

Imagine thinking that mocking a governor who is providing feminine hygiene products for (low income) students so they don't have the extra burden of blood-stained clothing, is some sort of "own"?
Who in the hell could support such an insidious, selfish, hateful political party as the GOP? And I don't even care if you hate the Dems, but the GOP is just scummy.
I think it’s that he’s putting menstrual products in the boys’ room that’s an issue, not free menstrual products. Doesn’t anyone have common sense now?
Exactly.
Because if someone identifies as a boy and is biologically female, they may need menstrual products. This happens. It’s ok.
Or if a boy has a friend, girlfriend, or sister who may need menstrual products, they can get them. Normalize menstruation. Again, it’s ok.
What’s not ok is the GOP’s obsession with everyone’s genitals and bodily functions. Ick.
This is such an immense and hilarious reach I’m afraid you’re gonna hurt yourself.
It's really strange you think that's such a reach.
And it’s really strange that you think the boys room needs menstrual products.
There. I guess we’re even.

Well let’s see, for decades they were both teachers who don’t make much money. They needed IVF to have their kids, and one of them has a learning disability. Sent both kids to college. He was in Congress where you need to maintain a place to stay here as well as your residence. Now he’s the Governor. Not sure they really ever had a lot of extra money. But I’m sure we’ll find out more when we see their tax returns.
Yeah this sounds like most people I know. Other poster is in a sweet bubble.
I’m a bit worried about his money management skills, honestly. Time will tell, I guess.
This isn’t helping the socialist/commie accusations. Not owning a home at 60+ as a current governor is embarrassing. He was former military so there’s no excuse to not owning a home.
He’s cheap
DP. He sold his home. He is the real deal—a public servant, a leader, a National Guardsman, and someone who cares about people. That money and property ownership may not matter that much to him is admirable. Having said that, if and when he wants to write a book or whatever, he will quickly have more money than pretty much anyone posting here. Tim Walz will be vp and, eventually, president. He will take this country to a better place.
Ok but my money better matter to this loony socialist. When I am 60, I don’t want to be broke like he is.
He is not broke.
Two pensions already puts him ahead of most Americans. Plus his wife’s pension and social security. Must have the 300k house sale proceeds in a brokerage or savings account, to buy a new place whenever needed. Lives in a low cost area. Seems like he’s doing fine to me. Who cares if he’s not DCUM rich, has a solid middle class life . Also probably spent a fortune on ivf treatments to get his beautiful family. Has always been a committed public servant. More admirable than most.

Yeah.... these are claims the left is making.
Funny - suddenly - rural white people aren't hillbillies or rubes or any of the other derogatory names the left likes to give them. Until, of course, Kamala loses.

No, it really isn't. It is a normal human process that can be embarrassing and really, why do you want human blood puddling around on a school chair or hallway?
