Historical facts that forced birthers ignore: when women’s lives are treated like dirt, the value of life in general goes down. Things like this happen and you certainly can’t go to the doctor and expect help; if anything had gone wrong the woman is now a suspect - what did you do wrong and so forth. Of course a teenager isn’t going to be getting prenatal care if she has an unsafe home life. The pp is correct; this is the first of many.
