seriously? I know someone on each of those teams that is already playing up, even before the SY change. That's not suddenly going to change for next year because of the SY change. Each of the clubs is going to put together the best team they can from the eligible candidates, and if that includes some Q4 2013s or Q4 2014s, then that's who will be on the team.
Our club's unstated policy is along the lines of 'no one plays up if they're not on the top team', so I expect to see some Q4 2013s move down based on that rule, but we'll see for the Q4 2013s who are already starters on the top team but could move down and become stars
FVU coach for 2026-2027 U13 was posted: MV. What do we need to know?
There is rich discussion on MV throughout these boards. Not sure I've ever seen a positive comment.
He's doesn't play the parent game and most of the girls are okay with him. He is the lesser of many evils in this area.
Agree! Lots of parents are negative because he doesn't entertain any fraternizing and being influenced by parents unlike other coaches in the region. If you appreciate that and if your kid is a strong & serious player you will be happy. Probably best suited to the younger age teams too.

Not a glowing endorsement, but sounds like it could be worse. Based on him being mid, I would assume McLean girls dont come over, so FVU will not be strong for the foreseeable future.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Sounds like you are mostly talking about Loudoun/ NVA, which has the most “flexible perspective”. No rapport with the girls.

Favors taller girls/early developers
