I know. What sort of weirdo feels the daily need to broadcast their random thoughts of the day out in public? It's such a strange life. Nothing is ever private, no moment ever present. It's like Jen can't have a magical Aspen holiday unless she makes sure the world knows about it.

I always wonder whether these people don’t feel self conscious doing their videos out in public. It’s so weird to have an almost 50 year old woman walking around videoing herself.

Go look at Tyler's Instagram post today. It's his face hovering over a steaming mug of something, and the words VAGINAL STEAMING on the mug. Ugh... Ew... He seems not quite heterosexual. I think he's more interested in vagina jokes on mugs than actual vaginas.

I think this is a relevant discussion group because I believe Jen is a false teacher.
The combination of Christian celebrity, social justice warrior and ultra capitalist narcissist is jarring to say the least. It doesn't work. God help her and those that basically worship her. I have no problem with her earning a living, but it's like what is ok for her is not ok for others. It is a confusing stew indeed.

Anyway, I am not that observant a person, but her most recent fb video with the Texas football shirt on- am I the only person who thinks she had her lips done? They looked like it to me and her speech seemed a bit different

It's none of my business EXCEPT I just don't get how she juggles the cosmetic surgery thing with her big push for self acceptance. I have only known about Jen for a couple of years, but you get a sense that she is really going downhill. I am baffled by how her "tribe" can see anything sincere or consistent in her message

If you look at her latest stories, there's definitely something being done to the face, especially the eyes/Brow area, with plastic surgery or botox or something. The eyebrows almost don't move. It's weird.

The reason I come back to this thread is to hear some refreshing truth about someone selling false narratives for a living. Some of y’all are incredibly savy at seeing through the propaganda with these post Christian celebrity influencers. It comforts me to read your insights and know there are plenty seeing through the grift. I’ll have this niggling thought in the back of my mind then one of you will call it out, and I’m like ah-ha that’s what it was. Like the tummy tuck, I noticed in her bikini pics her belly button didn’t look quite right but hadn’t put the dots together. This group has some well trained eagle eyes that spot all the things. In this vast fake virtual world a little bit of truth is highly treasured.

I think that while Jen never had the huge success of Glennon Doyle or Rachel Hollis she was still very much a part of that same grifter group that targets and exploits vulnerable woman as a business model with a fake online portrayal of their perfect lives and families, their shape-shifting phoniness, their use of weaponized promo code shilling, their casual plagiarism, and their posing like legit experts on all the things.

Because she wasn’t as big her horrors sort of flew under the radar of scrutiny and investigation.

To my knowledge this is the only forum for people who know what a fraud she is to vent. Rachel, as a comparison, has huge Reddit boards dedicated to holding her accountable.

Jen is just as bad, though. And she’s still very much trying to play this grifty game.
