This is anecdotal, but my Jewish friends in my neighborhood in Chevy Chase that are overwhelmingly members of the Democratic Party are all very happy with the US bombing Iran. They keep invoking the Holocaust. Again, this is anecdotal, but I don’t think this desire to protect Israel more than the US is just an objective of the GOP. This is why Chuck Schumer has not done anything to stop it.

It would be the end of America. The world would take Canada’s side along with 60-70% of the US.

This one is probably pretty close to the truth. That is, for all intents and purposes, Netanyahu is running US foreign policy.

The MAGA/GOP are waiting for Dems to win the midterms and clean up this mess and impeach and try these ghouls. Even the vile Nick Fuentes has said as much. That’s their plan, so they don’t lose faith and can run a Nazi in 2028.

No one will be able to clean this up. Trump has been out of control for the past year and he has burned bridges with allies and pushed our economy off a cliff. Now he’s started a war in an infamously volatile region that will cost us vast amounts of blood and treasure and endangered our national security.

The GOP could stop this today.

GOP didn’t blink at Trump’s talk of taking over Greenland, making Canada our 51st state, pardoning Jan. 6ers, tariffs, shooting up fishing boats (even if they were drug running boats- you don’t do that!). GOP has enabled this madman. GOP is complicit.

Somehow we have spent trillions of dollars on our military and yet....

(and blaming Biden/Ukraine is a fools game...we were SELLING them expiring armaments that had to be replaced anyhow)

A single Patriot interceptor costs $4 million. Iran has about 80,000 drones that cost about $30,000 each. The math isn't mathing favorably for the US. Drone warfare has changed everything. The fact that the US is running out of interceptors on Day 4 demonstrates once again that Trump/Rubio/Hegseth had zero plan for this war.

Wonder how many days until we’re out of interceptors. It seems like the large majority of Iranian drones and missiles have been taken down so far. What starts happening when almost all of them get through?

With this administration? God knows. tactical nukes? Boots on the ground? Maybe they’ll invade Mexico as a distraction from the distraction.

The imminent threat was that if somebody attacked Iran they would attack.

Do these people think we don’t have ears or minds? Are they smoking crack?

I feel sorry for every single service member who didn’t vote for this shitshow and hope they resign imminently.

Childish. “Lethality” that killed dozens of children. Dead and wounded servicemen. Leaving Americans stranded in the US, when the UK flies its people home. Now, leaks that there was no imminent threat and that the administration fired the intelligence agents monitoring Iranian threats.

This nation is an utter disgrace.

Maybe he is. Maybe he is compromised. That’s why an investigation needed to be done. Every worker bee in the federal government, that works in the Intelligence Community, is vetted. If you have a criminal history, shaky financial background- like multiple bankruptcies, infidelities…etc, you are deemed not trustworthy, not capable of making good decisions and susceptible to blackmail and coercion. From a GS5 (very junior federal position) to a SES (executive level), everyone has to have an extensive background check. It’s scary that this standard isn’t applied to the President- the most powerful position in our country and maybe the world.

And if you extrapolate from there, the current President has a FAR shadier background than any of the above-mentioned workers being vetted.
