Where exactly will these girls go to? CSA? They’ve already had tryouts. The top players are going to get recruited GA or ECNL. The middle to bottom players on the roster are going to be in the same boat GA or ECNL. If you didn’t consider switching clubs prior to tryouts, that would most likely indicate that you’re happy with the current club and the direction it is headed in with the players and director. Being in ECNL isn’t a magic ticket to college soccer.

Folks. Mls next is very attractive for boys programs. specially Tier 1
PP here, I'd welcome the shift to MLSN as a boy parent at CISC. Seems unlikely but who knows
Just out of curiosity - do the CISC Academy parents you know all want MLS Next? I ask b/c most of the kids I know (09s and older) currently play HS soccer and I guess they wouldn't be able to that any longer.
We aren't at that level where we talk to those kids much - but they train 4x a week with the club 10 months of the year and do private training on the side. The ones I know are focused on soccer and playing careers, whether that's college or pro (realistic or not).
Down in mid table RL land, I'd be fine going back to NCYS or doing NPL.

hahaahahah because they are so good in ecnl..
not going to lie, its actually funny to hear these mediocre clubs crying about going to GA. Good Luck winning anything there!
If nothing else watching ECNL parents call other ECNL clubs "not so good" when they're rumored to switch to GA has been fun to watch.
GA parents have been saying this for years + whenever they do the ECNL hats try to change the subject to the success of other clubs (that their kid doesn't play for) or some college Stat (about a college their kid won't be attending to play soccer).
There will be some bigger names. The meltdowns and hysterics are going to be entertaining.
imagine CISC thinking they are too "Big" to play against CUP and City SC lol.......These hats man

Agree, a mid pack ECNL team is not going to dominate in GA unless they work their way up over some seasons.
And recruiting wise they will be fine in either league. Our experience in both leagues was there was no advantage of one over the other.
It's more about being a contributor on a highly competitive team and having a coach with connections.
