Except that Lucas isn't motivated by what voters think. She hates Youngkin. This is personal.
And Youngkin hates ordinary Virginians. And women. It's personal for him, too.
Just because someone holds different political beliefs than you doesn’t mean they personally hate you.
And don’t project your own beliefs onto an amorphous group of people you call “ordinary Virginians.” There’s no such thing.
his campaign was built on the false CRT narrative; his women's health preferences speak for themselves.
Yes, he hates people like me.

Northern VA Republicans join opposition to Potomac Yard arena
" This is not the type of deal an ordinary retail establishment or restaurateur would get. Instead, it’s a deal reserved for the privileged and well-connected few. This goes against our vision for the future of the party and undermines our party’s values of fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity. We believe in policies that benefit all Virginians, not just the elite few. We cannot support a deal that undermines these core principles."
I'm not a Republican, but I applaud this message and agree with their words.
Watching this project crumble is hilarious. I know a lot of people are against it, but I think the labor union promises didn’t help, and of course making taxpayers fork over money too.

Recognizing the potential impact on DCA, the chairs said he's been trying to discuss with Alexandria or the State and nothing. So add the airports to metro on stateholders never involved in this process. This whole thing stinks
So their plan is to have people park at DCA lots and take the metro and no one from Monumental though to, you know, talk to DCA about it?
Maybe this is all just a ruse to get DC to pay more to keep the teams. They didn't talk to Metro either.
I've predicted from the beginning that all of this was a ploy drunkenly cooked up by Youngkin at the 18th hole clubhouse to help his buddy shake out more money from the DC government coffers.

And fellow owner Jerry R in Chicago is also seeking a taxpayer subsidy.
None of these guys would be billionaires without taxpayer subsidies.
It’s too bad they can’t have a little humility about that fact.
