Understand that at the DCE 2022 level, there is indeed an opportunity with hard work and work with the Megills there is certainly the opportunity to move up to the A team. My understanding is that the team rosters are fluid. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard!

They were interested also because the 2021 team was an excellent one. Now that it's falling apart, Express will abandon the experiment.

LI Express only expressed an interest in Bethesda Lacrosse because one of the BETHESDA Board Members, who happens to help coach the 2021 team has strong relationship with the LI Express Founder.

The whole thing is a 2 - 3 experiment.

Shame on Bethesda which is supposed to be a non-profit for the kids. Instead, they gave away their 2021 team to a club that was struggling.

What did they get in return? A $225 "tryout camp" to coerce the parents to pay more or risk getting cut before tryouts even started, and then a $95 tryout fee that is twice what anybody else charges.

And Bethesda even promoted both the DCE tryouts and the bogus tryout prep camp. Shame on those board members for selling the kids out.

Your constant DEC cheerleading is really becoming tiresome. If the Club and the coaches were so good, they wouldn't have just one team you keep promoting. Bullish keeps bringing in junior and senior transfers to prop up the team so swaying some of the players are going to Bullis isn't saying much.

Yes. It is a joke to say the 2022 team is on track to be anything like 2021. Lots of legacy bad players, loudmouth dads and nonsense. The newcomers have no idea what they're in for. Plenty of folks on the scene knew to stay away from that. Lots of infighting behind the scenes already and players being shuffled down or out. And he B team has been sold a bill of goods that if they just keep ponying up the cash on extras, training and lessons that they might be called up to the A team. That's BS and everyone knows it. This thing is starting to be seen for the money grab and the political mess that it is.

LOL. DCE apologists are already trying to stem the flood. DCE 2021 was a great team, but they lost about half the starters and nearly half the team. There was no reason for those families to leave, but it happens all the time. Kids feel like they should get more playing time, or play for a better club, etc.

That's why so many of their B kids got called up and why so many lesser kids made their B team. I feel sorry for those who already paid the enormous team fee without realize the kids who left for other clubs.

2021 was great team. 2022 will be nowhere near as good, and then those kids will leave as well when they finish 8th grade.

Nope. If I were a HS s coach, I'd want my players playing together in the off season. If the HS coach is not affiliated with a club, then he will likely want them together in league play. Bullies players can stay at DCE since the coaches are there but other players may leave to be with their high school teammates now that they are in high school.

DCE is already starting to flop.

The 2021 team from last year is already splitting up.

What does Bullis have anything to do with whether or not DCE sticks around or not.

Historically the best Bullis kids play for Mad Lax or the Crabs.

McGills are running a slippery slope. They are a Bullis coaches and want Bullis families to come play for his club team while he can reap the financial benefits, seems strange to me.
