You know her mom was crowing with joy about Ben coming back. This story has deeper Family of Origin roots than is being played out in the media. Jen would benefit from stopping long enough to really process her view on relationships and do inner work, particularly around external validation. Ben, too, but he has different demons.

True and in this case it appears to have been at least a nail in the coffin.

I am not superstitious, but it's really like tempting fate at some level. You don't know that your relationship will last forever, despite how solid it seems and what you feel at the moment.

I’ve followed JLo since her Fly Girl days. Even in her heyday I thought she was a marginally talented pretty face - an opportunist with culture vulture tendencies. And the stories of her being rude are legendary. But damn if I don’t actually find myself feeling bad for her. Despite all of her success, she comes across as so insecure and desperate for validation, especially in her documentaries. Last but not least, having Bennifer 2 blow up in her face again so quickly and so publicly. She learned nothing the first time around and just couldn’t lay low about the relationship! Not saying it’s the only thing causing their problems, but perhaps not having an album and 2 films revolving around this man would have saved her some embarrassment. She is a fascinating case study.

I don’t think Jennifer understand the insanity of this is me now love story being a love story to herself. How could an addict that doesn’t love himself teach her how to love herself?

In the documentary, funniest moments are her team saying Taylor Swift is a no and Jennifer comparing her movie to Prince Purple Rain. 😂

In the first 5 minutes , Ben questions her judgement by saying it’s not the greatest love story never told if someone decides to tell it .

In another scene, Jennifer jokes and says sorry she isn’t an award winning director. She also says “I don’t care” and laughs about Ben having to seep through and unload the huge amount of cameras for her project . He enjoys it and shows off for the doc by identifying the different cameras (I guess trying to show off his director chops).

She doesn’t mention her kids at all in the doc or maybe I missed it.

She also says her mother is a narcissist and Center of attention/life of the party. Well, maybe she is as well

I feel bad for Lopez. Maybe this time she can move on because although she still loves him, she can admit that he was willing to do his wife dirty like this. I hope they each find someone well-suited for their specific personalities.

Rumors are swirling they signed the divorce papers last Wednesday . They met at an office building .

I truly feel sorry for her. Heartbreak can literally ruin one’s health. It’s dangerous . I hope she fills the void with her kids but I don’t think she can.

Gamblers usually hate routines, following the rules, and love risk and impulse activities so I can imagine the mundane routine of marriage and things like diet and fitness was boring Ben to tears with both Jens.
Lopez ,in particular, counts how much sugar and calories she eats in a day and doesn’t drink alcohol or smoke. Ben is literally the opposite of this . Ben is also a Leo just like Jen and he’s always talked about how she is more famous than he is and people freak out and scream J Lo in the streets when they’re together and treat him like chopped liver essentially .

I think he’s jealous of her fame. The happiest he ever appeared was with Ana de Armas and I think that’s because he was the star in that relationship. He isn’t the star with this one

Ben is a douchebag. This is the same
man who used his sons IPad to send secret dirty texts to the nanny that Garner couldn’t discover. He took her to a charity poker game days after Garner broke up with him .

He denied the affair but never sued the publications that reported the details. The nanny was definitely paid off.

Ben Affleck is also the same guy who let his 10 year old son drive and crash a Lamborghini at a car dealership . Teaching his son to disregard the rules is apparently ok with Ben.

Monster in Law is great as well . It was also Fonda’s comeback movie and Jennifer’s commercial comeback after the flop of Gigli . There is 100%. Ben and JLO were engaged when Garner was all heart eyes about him. I think one of them even said they fell in lovd during daredevil while he was still very much with jlo. Now I d agree with the pp, he didn't leave JLO for Garner but Garner definitely played a part. Ben did anything and everything to get out that engagement. JLO obviously feels a certain way about her still and that's fair

At one point earlier this year, both J Lo and Garner bat signaled about wanting MORE kids . They’re both in their 50’s. They’re both older than Ben. J Lo was first with news stories about surrogacy..

I wonder if that’s what pushed this current divorce and why Ben is running. Ben has always put his foot down that he doesn’t want any more kids. Frankly, I don’t think he even wanted the ones he has. His family line is plagued with substance abuse and depression and I don’t think he even wanted to marry Garner but girlfriend was able to make sure she got off birth control to trap him fast and hence they had their shotgun wedding . She did not say she wanted more kids. She made a comment that she got pregnant very easily and made a joke that as a 50 something year old woman she could probably still get pregnant today.
