They aren't, though. Your assumption doesn't pass the eye test or the quant analysis (laxnumbers):

Bullis 95.92
Prep 95.58
PVI 95.54
SJC 95.20

I'm in the camp of: any of these teams could snag any others on a given day.

100% agree toss up on any given day! All four have strong Goalie play, Great Defense and Offense that can put up points.

There are kids that barely play on the WCAC teams that would start/play plenty at the IAC schools. This board isn't for calling kids out so not going to do that.

WCAC vs IAC will NEVER happen.

They both are playing plenty of games. IAC has more flexibility to play out of conference then WCAC with number in the conference. At least SJC will play a hard schedule out of conference as does GZ. PVI and GC not so much and PVI has to play the VISAA teams (lame).

Tuesday:
Prep over Landon
Bullis over STA
PVI over BMA
SJC over GC
GZ over SMR

Friday:
PVI over GC by 2 (both high scoring but PVI better goalie play)

Comparing commmon opponent outcomes has had a very weak corrolation to actual head to head games this year.

Matchups matter, styles & strengths can offset or clash, coach disposition on mercy / bench development varies, and teenagers are not consistent.

Agree. Nobody knows. It's all conjecture...team A beat Team B. Team B beat Team C. So...no way Team C can beat Team A. It's fun banter, but that is all it is. Having watched quite a bit of SJC, Bullis and Prep...any game with those teams is going to be a low scoring, physical, defensive battle. PVI is also very good, from what I understand. So clearly, best 4 teams in area right now.

I don't know if the top 2 from the WCAC (PVI, SJC) are better than the top 2 from the IAC (Bullis, GP).

As of now, Boys Latin is not even going make the MIAA playoffs would might be the first time in 20 seasons.

Top 2 WCAC stronger than Top 2 IAC. Please play each other. Doing this area a disservice.

Expect a very close game, likely very low scoring.

I think Prep beats them by 5. No way Landon can score enough on the Prep D.

I don't think Prep has the offense to score more than 8 against Landon. Landon plays very good team defense.

I see it as a 7-5 or 8-6 GP victory.

For a low scoring game, it was very entertaining. Lots of hitting, groundball battles, great saves and team defense, with a lot of focus on 5 from Prep and 28 from Bullis. 5 did get a ton of shots, but many were of the low quality. Bullis looked like they were trying to keep it balanced, in terms of shots..

My hunch is that they will play again in the IAC Final at Bullis. Whichever OC can figure out a way to free up there best players for a few more quality looks, will win. Even in talent; should come down to coaching.

100% agree.
