It's a good example of love bombing. If he really loved her or really meant what he said he wouldn't have left so easily. What JLO did was unacceptable BUT he acknowledged he she had issues she was working through. He has every right to deem the relationship too much but he hasn't been truthful and shouldn't have fed into her fantasy. Shame on him for that.

Agree. My brother was self-medicating (alcohol) bipolar. Classic mix of highs, lows, and frequent irritability. Very hard to live with. Ben does seem similar.

DP. This was a big misstep in her part. No one is saying it wasn't. I'd rather she go all in on the marriage to a absurd degree than be like Ben who says he's in it forever but has a foot out the door at all times.
