It is either serious foul play or violent conduct under FIFA rules and just as likely to seriously injure someone as a two-footed tackle. Totally intended to hurt the kid and it is not even arguable it had anything to do with going after the ball or a legit tackle. Bad non-call, and even worse when it is grizzled veteran v teenager. Fair play is fair play and FIFA ought to demand better. This bad conduct has no part in the game.

Stop calling Saka a kid; he’s a professional. Bigotry of low expectations
He's only 19. Its amazing he's leading a national team at a age so young but don't underestimate the weight of the team's expectations on him and the U.K.'s racist response rearing its ugly head.
I hope he can keep his head high and ignore the naysayers.

I was surprised he only got a yellow...the fact that he is a vet shouldn’t matter, but the fact that Saka had an acre of space in front of him should have cemented it.

There is criticizing and there's heaping racist abuse. The latter is disgusting and needs to be better monitored on social media platforms.
With that said, three missed PKs didn't lose the game. What's worse, even if 19 year old Saka had made his penalty, England still would not have been guaranteed a win. They would have continued with penalties.
The real failure was England's failure to score a goal in the 120 plus minutes of play before penalties. Criticize that.
A lot of people in the know are criticizing the coach's selection of kickers.
Putting a 19-year old, novice of the big matches in the most critical position since the 1960s was a daft move.
Experts agree, England was out-coached. They also question they way the Coach jerked around Rashford.

I thought it was standard practice for away fans to be escorted out at the end of matches like these. I certainly remember Brazilian officials protecting German fans in an organized fashion after the 7-1 semifinal thrashing of Brazil in 2014, having them remain in their seats at the end and escorting them out in groups. Epic fail by Wembley organizers; also people were apparently roaming around inside without tickets.
Big failure indeed. I used to live in London. They have matches every weekend (local teams) and they are used to handling crowd control and rowdy fans. They probably handle hooligans better than any country out there. They just didn't deploy their expertise this time it seems.
