Huh? If you wanted to invest in the community your 1st choice would have been your IB school. But it wasn't, was it? You have choice. Stop with the faux liberal guilt and just enroll in the private while you wait for the charters.

LS thinks a pandemic + swing space move will benefit you as you get into CHML on draw day. Your SWS waitlist number will look really good, but never really budge. You'll sign up for extra snack duty to overcompensate, and buy the regular apples, not the organic ones.

Also 41 offers doesn't mean 41 kids were let in. A class size is 18 kids for PK4.

For this school year, DCB added a third pk4 class, which might explain the movement. I wouldn't expect that kind of movement this year, but then again i think more parents than usual might de-enroll their kids from the school this year.

I'm not the swami but I'm a parent at Inspired Teaching, and I'm sure you'll get in. And I think you should take it! I have a kid in the middle school and we are happy. You got a great lottery number.


I really hope so. I saw that they only took 1 pre-K 3 kid off the waitlist last year and it was between August and October so I’m nervous. No idea if Covid is going to make lists move faster or slower. Glad to hear you like it! Thanks for the feedback!
