What about both? Could Arlington’s Red teams be ECNL and then the top of the pyramid goes to MLS Next? I bet MLS Next is talking very seriously with Arlington because they need an inside the beltway option, what with DC United moving to Loudoun.

Typically the ECNL won’t let clubs play in multiple leagues.

On the boys side this is not true. Several true MLS clubs place their B or Gap composite teams in ECNL.

insane travel to NC and SC? Twice to NC, and once to SC, all of which are typically done with buses (i.e. parents don't have to go), is too much for you? You do know there are local leagues right?

1. Many Arlington parents are rich
2. They’ve got corporate sponsorship via Boeing lol and Biden’s (the establishment’s) wars will ensure business is a booming!
3. Arlington is in those local leagues, big brain

and your point is ... what

It was funny to see Arlington announced excitedly that the DA expended to U16/U17 and the same month DA collapsed.

It must be hard for Arlington TD then they decided to leave that partial acceptance forever for any league and join the league for all teams in the age groups.

http://www.arlingtonsoccer.com/news-and-events/news/arlington-soccer-association-expands-its-us-soccer-boys-development-academy-program-to-include-the-u-16-u17-age-group

SO Arlington boys will stay in ECNL.

Isn’t MLSNext just u13 and U14 in this area (aside from Bethesda, DCU and armour)? It would be silly to join a ‘league’ and restrict your other options for the sake of two teams. If Arlington gets all age groups in the MLS league it is worth considering, otherwise it’s just a waste of time.

Maybe Northern Virginia United Football Club? https://www.nvufc.com/
They just started Super Y teams for this summer and already have NPSL and UPSL U-23 teams.

FCV and Arlington not getting ECNL.

Loudoun having ECNL should be clue 1
Arlington removing boys from ECNL should be clue 2

Has Arlington removed boys? I haven't heard anything definite here yet - have you?

That’s was the claim by one poster

Just checked that nothing new at Arlington, except the club is getting VEO, claiming the only NVA club partnered with VEO.

I believe we shall see the fee increasing for Arlington boy and girl travel teams for the new season.

Boys side will be watered down further by USL academy coming with two locations in the near future.
A pyramid does not water things down.
Where do you see USL academy fitting in this pyramid?
