Curious how you know the teacher recs were GLOWING. My daughter is at Holton and they don't share them. I assume they were glowing and she got into her ED but would be curious to see them and wonder if teachers at other schools show them to the students. I have never heard of that happening in the past but maybe it's just our school.
Last week her English teacher voluntarily shared what she wrote with my daughter. She was not asked to do so, but she said she thought that since applications were done, my daughter would like to see it. Her math teacher told her "I sent your letter in, you officially walk on water." I agree that it is uncommon. My DS didn't see his either.
I would keep that quiet, applications are not over and showing LOR's is a big taboo, if she did it then don't out her....extremely bad form.
