Would love to see Stacey Abrams with something, but not sure what she's qualified for/would want. Amy K and Tammy Duckworth could probably also have something if they want, but they're better off staying put in the Senate. Would love for Amy K to replace Schumer in the leadership. Whitmer could have a post, but makes sense for her to stay put as well.
Mayor Pete for Transportation Sec or UN Ambassador--know he doesn't have traditional credentials for the latter but he's a sharp cookie and, with the right staff, would do well imo. I think Biden would be eager to mentor him.
Lael Braenard or Raphael Bostic for Sec Treasury
Tom Blinken NSA
Eric Garcetti for Labor
Karen Bass for HUD
Sally Yates for AG
Lujan Grisham for HHS (read she's angling for it)
Chris Murphy or William Burns for State
Jay Inslee for Interior
Alejandro Mayorkas for Homeland Security
Whomever Dr. Jill likes for Sec Ed, should be BIPOC
Vilsack for Sec Ag, if he's not too long in the tooth.
Susan Rice needs a non-confirmation slot--she wouldn't make it through the Senate. A caveat for any of these names, if Biden thinks they'd be too hard to get through
Agree with everyone but Rice. I worked with her and she is not capable. We propped her up as well as we could.
You've posted this before. Can you give more detail? Anyway Rice is likely a non-starter with the current Senate. Biden doesn't need to start with anything bruising.
Heidi Heitkamp is being discussed for Sec Ag, seems like a good choice.

No that’s going to Elizabeth Warren. That was the deal they cut.
WE CAN’T LOSE ANY SENATORS.
In Massachusetts? They literally only vote Democrat. It’s safe to lose a Massachusetts senator.
And this is why they currently have a Republican governor?
Unless the state legislature enacts new rules that require Warren to be replaced by a member of the same party, she's not going anywhere.
+1 and they’ve had years to do this and still have not done it. Not happening.

You can in states that will replace them with Democrats. While Charlie Baker is a republican governor, Massachusetts has a super-majority in both houses of the legislature and they can enact appointment rules including requiring the governor to replace an outgoing Senator with a candidate from the same political party. This is the most likely case if they need to replace Elizabeth Warren.
Likewise, VP-elect Harris' position will be safe as Gavin Newsom is a Democrat and one only has to look at his ex-wife to know that he absolutely knows the danger of picking a Republican.

I like Chief of Staff for Pete.
No. He doesn't have the political experience for that job. However, he would be a fantastic Press Secretary. If you don't believe me, go and look at the videos of his interviews on Fox and tell me that he wouldn't put smarta$$ WH journalists in their place and handle them smoothly when they press for information that he isn't giving out.

As a teacher I am most interested in sec of education. Anyone will be an improvement over Devos of course but I’ve seen Lily Garcia and Randi Weingarten floated and I’m not thrilled about either
Have seen Doug Jones flagged for AG and I think that would be a good choice
