I think this was posted but she looks wonderful here.

Get used to her; for life.

The Senators above seem to have a uniform, at least for hearings — the wool blazer and silk blouse. Serious, professional, boring. No surprises there. Barrett only wore that on the third day, and even then with more style — but maybe a little less “professional” (aka boring).

Appropriate for the occasion.
I was quite appalled at this fashion choice she made. Definitely sent a message.
You are so dramatic!
Anonymous wrote:i like the dress. I think for a Senate confirmation hearing to a Article III judgeship, you wear a suit. I'm a lawyer. My female judge had a very strict "suits in chambers" rule, so I admit I am a traditionalist. But I would not wear a dress like this to Court or to a Senate hearing of this nature.
I think a "business" dress is totally appropriate for a hearing, and I am also quite traditional and a lawyer. I think she made a good choice.

That said, I don’t think wearing a dress to a confirmation hearing is unprofessional. I’m tired of mimicking men in the workplace. Dresses are feminine and we can wear them and achieve at the same time. I think this might be the only statement I could ever write in her defense.
They’re too casual. She does act like she has this in the bag.

Yesssssssssssssssss!!!!
DP. Obama often chose specific designers as a statement so you're maybe not making the argument you think you're making.
