I agree with PP, anywhere state this? Currently, there are 8 N/S Carolina teams and 5 NOVA teams. If ECNL added both FCV and Arlington, it would be a nicer split. For some reason, the Carolinas have played 13 or 14 games and NOVA teams have played 7 or 8. I know COVID is the culprit here as they tried to keep clubs from traveling too far in the fall, but NOVA clubs needed to play each other more. So whether it's competition, team proximity, or potential covid restrictions... adding two more NOVA clubs would actually make sense. Would bring back a couple rivalries as well.
Well that’s a broad area you picked to compare to NOVA. The Carolinas? Ok let’s combine VA and MD to be fair. Let’s see - oh look 8 ECNL teams. Seems about right.

It is looking like Arlington might stay in GA and that is definitely good news for FCV and Metro.
