I need to watch the recommendations from everyone. I heard the Reply series was really good.

Finished watching Lie after Lie on viki, would highly recommend. Many twists and the leads are fantastic. I got instantly hooked.

I heard Penthouse was good, so I will start on that this weekend. Anyone watch Love, Marriage, and Divorce on Netflix yet? There are just so many kdramas to watch.

I'm the PP who keeps mentioning Hospital Playlist and Prison Playbook. They were both created by the same writer/director team as Reply 1988 (and Reply 1997 and Reply 1994, which are all separate stories, not sequels/prequels to each other).


To add. . . Prison Playbook and Hospital Playlist also took a few episodes to get fully immersed in it, but it's so worth it. I think it's because this writer/director team create stories and characters with such depth. Calling them a joy to watch is a perfect description.

No, this is the new show that takes place in Korea and it’s airing right now. They added PSJ’s best friend, Choi Woo Shik of Parasite fame:

DP. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to stream City Hunter currently. I've looked.

I know what you mean about "too light." At the risk of being repetitive (I posted a page or two back), let me give another plug for Hospital Playlist and Prison Playbook. They are wonderful and have a similar weight + humor as CLOY. Both also have a great cast of lead and supporting characters that will get you completely invested un their stories. You won't be disappointed.

PP-Haha I love how he is obviously so attractive, but kind of makes fun of it in the show. I think that’s another reason I like him as an actor He’s hot but he is also funny and has some killer charisma.
