How about they auto-enlist the kids who paid for spring and didn't receive any services. It would make things right.

Are you still hopeful you’ll get your money back?

This reminds me of the lacrosse person (clearly a director) who was like "you want these clubs to be around after this" Actually, youth club sports might be at the very bottom of the list of things worth "saving." Any youth sport can pick back up, it's not rocket science. Such a scam

AND they’re folks STILL got their paychecks diligently AND THEY RECEIVED PPP!!!!!!!

It was said that non-profits can’t qualify for PPP. So have irregularities occurred?
If law has been broken here and they’re operating still then I suspect this smells even worse....

Why did they even need a PPP loan if they were already paid from our FEES they didn't refund?!

To pay for the lawyer in preparation of the lawsuit.

You are going back to a club who would not flinch a second in stealing humble people's hard-earned money because your son wants to play with his buddies and it is close to you?

Ok, guess i understand why the moral compass of the vast majority of adults in NoVa is beyond repairable.

Shall we say sad?

I would too. These are 2 important things that I rate. Its our money and each person's choice to do what they want with it. Control much?

Not in the slightest but can’t have the cake and eat it.

Are you really that well-off to just accept a “non-profit” keep your $2,500 and then ask for more?

I am attempting to understand your thought process here.

Have zero connection to LS. No one disagrees with your base argument, but you have gone way, way overboard on DCUM having crossed over into an apparent ongoing and dogged smear campaign against LS. You've been at this for at least a month and have gotten your pound of flesh. Time to give this a rest and move on to some other fun topic.

If they got a refund they would stop complaining. I know LS hopes that folks simply eat it and move on with their life but many people simply will not do that. Smear campaign? Awww, too bad.

LOL is the LS staff also paid to patrol DCUM?

Of course people won’t stop complaining until their money is refunded. Class action lawsuit in the works.

no we shall not, but you can say whatever you want

excusez-moi? please elaborate on exactly how to call an entity who does not deliver a service, retains the money, ALSO gets PPP, AND not one single person gets a pay cut let alone furloughed?

I will patiently wait for your response. Heard through the grapevine that LS staff is working hard on these forums.

You are trolling now. File a class action lawsuit and stop blabbing on a meaningless forum, where you are free to use whatever names you’d like but at the end of the day is irrelevant.

I can’t imagine a parent protecting a club this hard over a non-controversial act like refunds. Loudoun soccer didn’t suffer but many parents and families did.

Sure, they refunded those who were previously in need of a price break but they ignored those, for whom their circumstances changed and they needed the refund, a refund for a service never received.

Lots of clubs refunded their customers. Perhaps if parents posted here what club gave a refund it might give parents an idea of what soccer club they should seek out this fall.

Curious - what clubs refunded? We have kids at Loudoun Soccer and another Loudoun Club, neither refunded.

Is loudoun club a soccer club?

These are the folks who voluntarily eat c__k. There was a poster who said there’s plenty to eat of it if you’re not the “in crowd” so I’m assuming they are “in”.
