It sounds like most DA clubs are going to start a new 10 month league while allowing HS soccer if your daughter wants to play, so you may not have to do anything. You don’t need to chase some ECNL badge.
Yep its called ECNL 2

^ no sh@t. That’s why I moved my kids around. It’s hard to find good development and for us it wasn’t at the most winningest club and the big name coaches. Training and individual development fell very short there. Culture is important too. What coaches will tolerate and turn a blind eye to. Sometimes that starter needs to be benched to teach him an example and set an example for the rest of the team—even if it’s a Final. Character is a big part of the game.

This is the dilemma, right? DD loves her coach. And for all its flaws, DA did some things right. Having each game recorded was a huge plus. Getting video of teams they were going to play, and having to review footage, meeting with her position group, coming up with strategies against that team. And then after the games, looking at her clips and seeing what she could have done better. These things also helped her develop into a smarter player.

Does ECNL require games to be recorded? I actually have no idea.

FCV staff are doing the following:

1. Worrying about their own financial well-being
2. Putting plans in place to benefit from the liquidation of their assets (You...the paying customer).

No one is going to Martyr themselves for the Club.

They may tell YOU to shelter in place. But THEY are looking for ways to properly position themselves.

Money talks. BS walks. There is ZERO loyalty in this game.

+1 Can't imagine with his resume he's not going to be looking to head up an ECNL program somewhere.

I heard he’s interviewing at Loudoun!
Man he’s moving on faster than the parents.

You are not a FCV parent which is why you think Bobby is a good coach. He was by far the start of the downfall for FCV. Please study up on all the forums here... NO ONE in FCV can stand him. So many issues brought to US Soccer - they wont even let him coach on the youth national teams any longer. He is not just an FCV problem.

How long can TSJ stay in business a this point? I guess if they own then land vs. lease then they’ll be ok. Just furlough everyone and shut off most of the power and wait it out.

That is interesting. BRYC could use him but he may have contract with The ST James. Maybe ECNL will change their mind on FCV though.

I think all FCV players find homes not just the starters, it will suck for the kids to be split up.
