And once the children get older, the age difference is not meaningful and they get sorted according to skill, with stronger ones playing up . Or they play on the varsity team with older players in the case of school soccer.
Travel soccer has nothing to do with High School Soccer. Neither are beholden to the other.
That was not the point. What they have in common is children of different ages playing together on the same team due to ability rather then age. That was the point.
The point is they are different organizations.
And? the discussion is about when to have an age cut off for club soccer. my point was - the date does not matter...it is arbitrary and children of different ages play together already and will continue to do so regardless of what date is chosen.
