In her defense, the Hope actress is much better than VR allows her to be. I skip most of Hope too but she was less terrible in the current season.

She is the worst in this season! Her and Lizzy need to be killed off.

At the end of the season, Mel will own one pair of maternity pants, and Charmaine will be 6.5 months pregnant.

I watched the first 3 seasons with enthusiasm bc it was just the right thing during the pandemic. However this season, bleh.

Curios why they started Mel out so frumpy. Wasn't this a "city girl moves to small town blah blah blah, meets cute troubled local guy and they make it work" story plot? Usually the girl in that scenario is ridiculously over primped and unprepared for small town life. But not Mel - she brought her remote untouched look with her.

We'll see what Season 5 brings!

Both leads are gorgeous but they have generic friendship chemistry not love of my life chemistry. Meh.
