Haven’t seen these. Can you post. One of my older neighbors blew out a tire when she was driving to the hospital and hit one if the stops next to the bike lane. It really rattled her.

Imagine if she blew out a tire and hit a person on a bicycle.

Protected/separated bike lanes are good for people on bikes and also good for people in cars who don't want to hit people on bikes.

There are no people on bikes on Seminary Road. She would be more likely to hit a car from all the backed up traffic caused by the bike lanes. White posts like those installed to narrow corners of streets would be more effective along the bike lanes because people can actually see them. Since you seem to be a member of the bike lobby, please ask Justin to have DES install them. You people seem to be the only ones to whom he listens.

Assuming that Justin was actively behind the effort. He is a nasty piece of work and his conduct in this mess defines him - and he’s proud of it. Suitable for the Trump White House.

I have seen the flyer. I am not a huge fan of Justin but I 100% do not think he has anything to do with them. No way.

He's done about 75% for. EBP is 100% cooked. She doesn't even have the decency to answer her constituents questions. No integrity with that one.

At least Justin is making an attempt to appear engaged. Can you imagine if you sat silent during the biggest thing going on while you were vice mayor and then tried to go on to higher office? lol.

What kind of weather prohibits it?

Ice

Agreed. Biking on ice is a bad idea. As is driving on ice.

People bike to work year-round here. And I'm not talking about middle-aged men with expensive equipment and office jobs. I'm talking about people who bike to their low-wage jobs because biking is low-cost, reliable transportation.

I'm lucky that it works out well for me to bike to work if there's a locker room/showers. Often faster than metro or driving, so quite convenient and I also get a workout in.

If one were less bike centric they could understand that successful alternate means to address road traffic, such as buses, subways, car pools, slug lines, telecommuting, and flexible work schedules have reduced traffic. Someday bikes may do the same. In the meantime, misguided efforts to encourage bike lanes has caused traffic congestion in King St and Seminary Rd

Please change my mind by The producing users for the bike lanes.

If one were less car-centric, they could understand that EVERYTHING that enables people to safely and conveniently go places without getting in a car reduces the number of cars on the road.

That includes bike lanes.

If you don't want to ride a bike, then you don't have to ride a bike. Nobody is making you ride a bike.
