All big cities - especially the older ones on the East Coast - have rats. Even apparently Washington. Even apparently on the grounds of the White House.

And, Victor Blackwell, the CNN host who claimed Trump was calling the people "rats," did grow up in Baltimore. I don't know where he lived, but the high school he attended is well out of the area that is being discussed. Maybe he lived in that area, but he didn't go to high school there.

This article is from 1991. People who wanted to live there, tried. These people could afford to get out. So, no, humans should not have to live in these conditions. You are the one calling them "subhuman." Do you really think the people want to live in these circumstances? I wouldn't. Do you think because the people are AA that they don't care about rats? Look at the videos that were on tv today and tell me you think it is acceptable.
And, yes, it is in Cummings' district. (Some of his district is great--but not the part in Baltimore.)


I can find horrible places in all cities and horrible places in rural America. Yet people still live in those places.

No. It actually is rat infested. He was not talking about people. He was pointing out that Cummings had his nerve attacking BP facilities when he has terrible intestations of rats (real ones) in his district.
Just because you don't like Trump and he has made some very inappropriate remarks does not change things. The issues in Baltimore are terrible. Some parts of Cummings' district are just fine, but the parts in Baltimore are terrible. Suggest you take a field trip. Go down MLK Dr past the stadiums and hang a left. Then go across from the stadium --not down by the harbor, but just a few blocks away. Pretty bad.
