PP you are responding to, I agree about them taking more risks as thing go along. For me, I never said I was leaving my marriage, and in fact I didn't like talking about my wife at all. Wife and I are fine although I miss the sexual part of my marriage. I was very honest with AP that I still had sex with my wife about 1x a month.

My ex-AP got upset a few years in when somehow I let on my wife and I had sex a couple times a week still. She had ceased having sex with her husband and talked negatively about him. Like you, I preferred never to speak of my wife and when I did I never spoke bad or said anything negative. That’s when things definitely started turning in the affair because she realized I was never leaving my wife. I never told her that I ever had any plans to do that, but by hanging around she read way more into the length of time of the affair and I guess she thought she could prove irresistible. I never once envisioned a life with her.

This totally sounds like the "vindicated" wife posting as her husband to convince us and herself that her husband never had feelings for his AP.
