To say that the DA is better than ECNL, today, just seems silly.
And the Mid Atlantic Conference doesn’t compete with the North East either.
DA Mid-Atlantic is not hitting on much either. MA ECNL had 2 national finalists and several quarter finalists. How about Mid atlantic DA?
The entirety of the Mid Atlantic, DA or ECNL is weak. Trying to prop up your situation based on the allegiance of mega clubs a continent or a conference away doesn’t make your club situation better.
OMG, today conversation started because Mr. DA propaganda machine keeps selling snake oil. Just because we offer a legit counterpoint backed by facts doesnt mean we are propping up one over the other. Its merely pointing out the hypocrisy.
But yes, the strength of a league in your overall geographical region is important because of crossover games and regional showcases (Like ECNL NJ /PDA showcase)
The only good team in NY (yes, Atlantic DA divsion play 3 -4 NY teams) was NYC FC which is now World Class ECNL. FCV has to drive to Atlanta just to get meaningful competition. It's also a way for USSF to save face and offer Tophat a bone because they hate DA.
So again, stop with the BS
And to the guy who keeps calling our region weak. When will you realize that by your standards, every region in America is weak except Socal. Go take a hike with that BS as well.
By all means post some Mid Atlantic team scores against PDA.
I’ll start. 06 VDA 0:5 PDA 06.
That’s it. You actually have to be a good team to play good teams in other conferences.
06 VDA 1:0 Tophat 06.
I see what you did there.
Me too. Good one.
Any other teams or age groups?
No. Playing PDA is not a regular season occurrence. You are still left with a weak region still trying to hang your hat on what clubs are in your league when in fact you rarely if ever get a chance to play against them.
What are you hanging your hat on?

Let's put it this way. You put the East Coast GDA with the East Coast ECNL in the same division and they all play each other, the GDA will make up the lion's share of the top teams. Even MU at 04 and 05 would finish top half of the MA ECNL. Arlington would be competing to win the MA ECNL in likely every age group. And FCV would absolutely dominate every age group in the MA ECNL (McLean U18/19 only real competition). Repeat this scenario in every region in the country and then you will see why the GDA is much stronger than the ECNL overall. It is closer at the older ages.
Go sit down. MU would be a doormat in EDP.
As opposed to the doormats in the the CCL (oops, meant ECNL) like Loudoun? McLean in multiple age group. And BRYC in others. VDA is a legit club in several age groups but no better than Arlington across the board. So when the best local ECNL teams would be middle to bottom of the pack in the MA GDA division, and the local GDA teams would be at the top of the MA ECNL division, you want to argue that the ECNL can hold a cancel to the GDA? LMAO.
Not a single part of your post doesn’t apply to the Mid Atlantic ECNL Conference and that is the point.

Let's see how many of these NYCFC girls stay with World Class. My bet is less than half.
According to the NY threads you would be a losing man.
