As a parent who has had kids playing travel soccer in this region for 12 years, I was trying to give some actual information, but apparently the types of people who have moved into this area are such complete jerks, that it makes no difference. All of you who are so negative have obviously never played any competitive sports in your life except for may be tee-ball when you were 6 years old. As someone who played through college and had great coaches and lousy coaches, I know a good coach when I see one. If George has the talent on the team, he will be successful. I hope you enjoy living vicariously through your children who hopefully will be much better people when they grow up than you.

Or maybe it will be run by the U16 coach? yes great! his record was 19 Losses, 2 Ties and 2 Wins. In total the U16 team lost their games 82 goals to 19.
Hard to believe the Pro team doesn't want a DA! Yes, sign me up to have these guys in charge of coaching my daughter. Hurry before all the good spots are gone. Hurry!
But they are “very technical coaches” according to the parents. I don’t know what that means but it apparently sells $3600 tickets.
I'm just wondering what koolaid everyone is drinking as we have heard "coaches coming soon", "partner clubs coming soon", "roster coming soon". But yes trust us? They have told us nothing. Sounds like a well thought out plan, but next year is going to be amazing? People must set their expectations pretty low which is shocking at the cost.

Plus it always makes me nervous when you cut your known players to find all of these 'amazing' players out there who you've seen for 2 practices. Good luck with this winning strategy. I'll stay where I am.
SO... there is a big Catch 22 here. For the ENTIRE YEAR this forum has been criticizing WS for bloated rosters and carrying players who weren't "DA level." Now we're criticizing the new MU for trying to fix the problem and cutting "known players." Will they pick up a ton of "amazing" players? Probably not. But 1-2 adds in the right positions, coupled with shedding the problems could make a big difference. Don't leave your club if your DD is getting what she wants and playing a lot and getting better. But also just stop with the double-edged sword of criticizing other clubs for trying to create a solid environment for solid players who do want to be there. Just vote with your feet and shut up.

I think you may have used this line already. But I'd rather travel to get my daughter to good soccer, than throw my money away on the same 'great' training you're getting now.
It's tough to loose to the same team 3 times in a year, but cheer up, maybe next year you'll only have to play FCV 2 times.
U14s FCV won ALL 3 games: FCV 12 goals, Spirit 1
U15s FCV won ALL 3 games: FCV 13 goals, Spirit 1
U16s FCV won ALL 3 games: FCV 13 goals, Spirit 2
U18s FCV won ALL 3 games: FCV 11 goals, Spirit 4
The spirit midfield can't keep the ball, the forwards can't score and the goalkeepers can't stop the balls. Loading up my EZPass never felt so good.
