He’s been short listed for SCOTUS before. Someone has already done s the due diligence. And sadly, that someone is not the slipshod ethically challenged Trump White House.
No non-insane person carries $200,000 in credit card debt to support a baseball habit. And pays it off suddenly in any legit way, while living in DC on 280k a year in salary and a huge mortgage plus private school costs.
This is about to get good. And McConnell deserves all the sh*t abortion it to hit the fan. String Kavanaugh along until after the August recess, and then there is no time for a second bite at the Apple until after the midterms.

He must be an idiot if that's all he can get. No one trumpf picked him. He's as dumb as him.

It shows you really have nothing. No viable arguments against this nominee.
It’s normal to like baseball. It’s normal to have credit card debt. It is not normal to have $200,000 in credit card debt that you attribute to baseball tickets. Most of us buy $50 seats and don’t take out a Thrift loan.
If you can’t tell the difference, I can’t help you.
I can tell you this. He could not get a federal security clearance with that kind of debt. And there is a good reason. Think about it. It will come to you...
Let’s point out a few snippets from the WaPo article that you, and others here, have conveniently overlooked......
Shah said the payments for the tickets were made at the end of 2016 and paid off early the next year.
“He did not carry that kind of debt year over year,” Shah said.
“At this time the Kavanaughs have no debt beyond their home mortgage,” Shah said.
He said that Kavanaugh has assets of nearly $1 million between the equity in his home and his retirement account.
Going from 200k in debt to zero debt over a short period of time does not help his case.

Merrick Garland. Private Citizen.
Merrick Garland is actually the Chief Judge in the same circuit where Kavanaugh serves but I guess it would be way too much to expect you to know something.
