I gather from the above that you expect his approval ratings to plummet.

Now congress will have to act. The law passed by the Dems has ballooned in cost and the promises that were made of decreasing premiums and a cost consistent with the CBO score are way out of whack. Now Trump is putting it squarely back in the lap of Congress. Either they work together or it will completely come apart. Quite frankly, before this law my healthcare insurance cost was 50% of what it is now, and if we go back to the old ways, I for one would be elated.

Sounds good. I frankly don't care if voters vote for Rs or Ds. For the most part, politicians on both sides of the aisle are corporate whores who are comfortable screwing over regular Americans.

That said, I remember you Dems getting really cocky during the presidential election. That didn't work out so well for you, did it?

If Trump said he was getting rid of Obamacare, and instead will shore up ACA, he'd get full support from most of his supporters.

It's not some great unsolvable mystery. Every other industrialized nation has a better health care system than we do. Anytime you make health care a for-profit industry with no cost controls, the goal will be to deny people care at reasonable prices because that's the way to make more money.

This was as obvious the day Obama was elected president as it is now.

Well, it's too late now because Rs are in charge. Obama had the opportunity, but he decided to go with the ACA instead.

Trump's new policy will increase premiums by 20%, cost the government $194 billion, increase the deficit, destabilize insurance markets, and increase the number of uninsured Americans. There is nothing it makes better.
