Most shows go through a sophomore slump.
But I agree, this is pretty drastic.
Sadly, I agree. Not sure if my expectations are too high, but I no longer look forward to watching it.

I thought it was transvaginal. She had the blue paper blanket thing pulled up to her chest so her belly didn't seem to be exposed. Could you do an ultrasound through that much belly fat anyway?
Exactly, it was. And no, her weight would make it impossible to do a surface ultrasound. One of my friends (who is very heavy) had a similar issue and was freaked out that they couldn't get a read on the baby doing a standard ultrasound. No heartbeat, no image, nothing. So they did it transvaginally instead and all was well.
i find it so uncomfortable watching her, she looks miserable.
She looked scared but secretly pleased to me.

I have a family member who was adopted from foster care and had similar hygiene issues. Beth and Randall are trying their best and are awesome parents, but I hope they don't end up being in over their heads.
****SPOILER ALERT****
Also, I should have seen the pregnancy coming. It fully explains why Kate has been acting strange towards Toby (and in general) and obsessing about her health. I'm interested to see how this storyline plays out. And yup, it seems like they'll continue dragging out the mystery behind Jack's death for as long as possible.
****SPOILER ALERT****
She'll miscarry and blame herself and her weight.
A spoiler alert is when something has happened. She didn't have a miscarriage, so that isn't spoiler alert.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I hate him.
Every week I have said this.
I hated him last year when he showed up at the fat camp, etc but feel better about him this year. Kate and Kevin are battling their addictive personalities at the same time in his little apartment so understandably he is like WTF is going on. I think he is handling it pretty well.
