As a man, let me assure you that men can only do so much to control their sexuality. The phrase "men are only as faithful as their options" is true. Stats say 50-80% of men cheat at some point. The reason it isn't 90%+ is because its not that easy as a married man to find a woman to sleep with you, and really hard to find one for an NSA don't contact me again romp. Bi men can get that instantly on any gay dating app.

My view is that a bi man basically doubles the risk of infidelity. Yeah, sure, maybe this particular one is capable of being monogamous but it's not a path I want to set myself on. And, like many posters on this thread, there is something unappealing about the sexual side of it. I want someone wholly committed to my gender. It makes me feel better. I don't see anything wrong with saying you are not attracted to one or two particular races. It is a preference and not discrimination. Who cares? You do you and worry about your dating. Don't worry about the man who says he only likes black women or the woman who only likes Asians.

This is why the medical world uses "MSM" (Men who have Sex with Men) instead of labels like "straight," "bi" or "gay." They know that these self-selecting labels are too subjective to be meaningful.

It isn't discriminating. It is reasonable to choose not to date someone who has a trait you aren't attracted to, in this case, bi sexuality.
