Sad for the kids
Exactly. It's the children who suffer more than anyone. So many of our children have been made to endure the pain of broken families.
How can this be addressed?
Obviously the only way is to force the woman to stay with her husband no matter how much she hates him. What other option could there be. Think of the children, won't someone think of the children?
Actually, if she's truly a smart woman and thinking ahead about having children, she would have given more consideration to the person she was marrying and the types of behaviors he was displaying as she was dating him. Don't you think it's a tad late to be thinking of your spouse as a scumbag and going through a divorce when you're about to deliver your second child? People on this board often criticize men for thinking with the wrong part of their anatomy. What do you think she was doing?
Whatever was in her head when she married the guy, clearly she was doing something wrong, and now must be punished. For the sake of the children, of course.
I DIDN'T SAY she SHOULD be punished; just stating the facts re how consequences result from our choices. Fact.of. life.
That's right. Prison or stay married. Fact. Of. Life. Why should the children have to live without their coked up power mad daddy?
Don't you get it yet? It's always the woman's fault! In fact, Deidre kinda owes her kids, the Mooch and the various Good Peoole Jeff as some form of self-harming contrition. She probably shouldn't even send the kids to school, they're doomed!!!!!

As a child of divorced parents I can assure you that kids are resilient and as long as parents conduct themselves with integrity and the kids' interests in mind, kids can be a-ok. Sometimes parents and kids are happier when the parents are divorced. Living in a home with two unhappy parents is awful.
Scaramucci seems like an SOB who couldn't be bothered to attend his child's birth. So, question whether he's going to be father of the year material ... or really even anything remotely resembling a father other than the sperm he brought to the equation.
All of this is true. But you have 1-in-50 chance of raising a "resilient" healthy child when there's a contentious divorce and the media is watching your every move. These kids are going to be f#cked when they read articles 10 years from now. about the crazy sh#t their dad did and said, how he treated their mother, his slavish loyalty to Trump over their mother, etc.
#daddyissues #therapy
Ergo: no divorce. You break it, you buy it.

People who feel less concerned about children of divorce should also be more likely to abort? Interesting coloration.

Are you talking about forced marriages? Why do so many people marry the bad person in the first place?
That I can't answer. I can only say that once they do marry the bad person, they're stuck. No getting out till you're dead, sweetheart! Think of the children.
