She did not even get the dress she wanted and then to have a "friend" take her bouquet. That's just wrong. I think her "friends" were angry about the taped-on names and felt it was snobby of her to be unwilling to ruin her dress. I suspect they are generally jealous of her accomplishments (new home, respectable job, good man).
I would also be willing to bet $500 that OP is an extremely attractive woman. What else could make women behave in such a catty fashion? I don't buy the theory that everyone thought the instruction to take home leftovers included the bridal bouquet. Other women know its significance very well.
Oh, I'd have been itching to take it. Because by OP's own admission, she was a Bridezilla, and I'm going to add "high maintenance and difficult" to the list as well. Simply based on her behavior here, she comes across as high strung and needy. It would just be too much fun to drive her batty with something like the bouquet. Mean? Sure. But considering what I'm willing to wager she's put her friends through over the years... You really think this is the first time she's ever mentioned the cake and the endless litany of minor complaints she listed for us here? Oh yeah, it would have very, very tempting.

Way to run to your own defense, OP.
How could she possible write in two totally distinct voices like that? If that's OP, I'd like to learn that trick myself.
It's easy if, like the OP, you have multiple voices in your head.

Anonymous wrote:Doesn't Ibero-American refer to all Spanish-speaking countries in Central and South America? So would that still fall under Latino? It just eliminates the French, English, and Dutch origin countries like Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados, or Martinique?

Isn't there a message board on theknot.com? Not that I care, but I need some entertainment while I eat my Ibero-American burrito.
People on DCUM don't get married?
I came here to research about adoption, I'm a teacher and I plan on to be a mother.
Is this a country club or something? Do I have to belong to a "certain class" to be part of it and I'm not aware of it?
That's funny!
See, she is just making it all up. Sometimes she acts like she's new to DCUM, and sometimes she says thing like she's been on DCUM for awhile. She didn't just happen upon the site to research adoption today.
One thing is clear - mental issues.
I never said I came here today to research adoption!!! I'm a teacher and a parent from one of my kids - who is adopted from Ibero-America - suggested me this website. I've been here for some time and I thought it would be cool to vent. It definitely was.
I'm almost over it... by the way it's cheaper than therapy

August is probably the worst time to be having a wedding cake stay in one piece.
So really, it's your fault.
You're kidding right?
The cake didn't fall. It was ugly and the wrong flavor. As simple as that.
By any chance, are you the cake lady?
