FWIW, I hates my height while growing up. Now, I love my athletic frame and long legs. I wear high heels whenever I want, too.

I'm also 5'9 and also hated my height while growing up. It wasn't until my 20s that I realized all the advantages of being tall.
My only gripe at this point is my shoe size. Don't know about you, DCUM tall girls, but my flippers are size 11 these days. (( Used to be 10.5 and somehow got even bigger during my pregnancies.

Another 5’9” and my size 11 feet are the bane of my existence. Many stores simply don’t carry my size. If they do, and it’s cute, it’s gone. There are always a ton of 9s and 10s, but if you see an 11, it’s only there because it’s hideous. I one had to online order ten different shoes to get one pair of sneakers because I couldn’t try things on in the store. ( not currently in the DMV.)

But finding outfits is harder, because in my experience, except for athletic clothing, most casual clothes and business wear in tall sizes seems to sized and cut for fatter women. That’s annoying.

Why would you enjoy intimidating other women and what makes you think you are intimidating them?

DP

My wife is really tall (6 feet) and a former NCAA D1 volleyballer and W-LAX athlete. The intimidation thing is real. Women are threatened by her. It has worked both ways for her, good and bad. She is positive it has cost her professional opportunities and maybe advancement in circumstances where women managers or partners were intimidated by her, but it’s probably also helped with men, especially former collegiate athletes or jock types, because they see her as a total Alpha-B***h-type and identify with that.

And yes, tall women demand more out of their partners down there. I think that’s why a lot of men are put off by taller women. They can’t measure up and that makes them mad.

Back in like high school I wanted to be shorter. But as an actual adult I love being 5 10. While I have occasional issues with sleeve and pant length I think clothes can look better on tall women as long as they are not fat. (Hence models are tall).
