Jane O'Brian and the other Substitutes are great. I don't understand why they keep us suffering with the gritty voice of Laura Travelyian. I cannot watch her.

We've been able to watch BBC news the last few days with the wonderful Jane O'Brien... why can't they keep her permanently?? (actually anyone else but JT would be great)

If you think she is a pleasure to hear, you must be a friend or relative with nothing to do but monitor this Site where hundreds hate her Voice.

I think Laura Trevelyan's accent, described as "Estuarian", is very interesting and a pleasure to hear.

Please, please, PLEASE: get her OFF!!!!!!!

How much more torture do we deserve with Trevelyans harsh voice? Lessons won't help!

Well here we go again... no BBC at my house again. Loved it when Jane O'Brien subbed. LT's voice is worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.

Travelyan has a rather annoying voice. I looked online to see if there were any reviews I came across this site and was amazed at how many people agree with me.

It is awful that we can only watch the BBC News America when Trevelyan is not Hosting. Her voice is so very gritting.

So happy Jane O'brien has been on the last few days... anyone but Nasal Woman... We don't watch when she's on.

I love her accent. I wish she was on longer.

It would seem that there are one or two catty women all called 'Anonymous' who keep dissing the Wonderful Laura. Lol

She has more character and personality in her little pinky than most will ever have.

Apparently BBC is obligated to someone when it refuses to take LT off the air. Meanwhile we have to switch channels when she is on. Terribly annoying voice.
