When I wake up late, I'm figuring out how much of my morning routine I can condense or cut out to save time. OP and her husband just don't seem very bright.
Hate to pile on, but I am curious what ethnicity or from what culture OP is.
She sounds very WASPY to me.
No, based on the reaction to the fried tuna, the given recipe/spices, and the absolute lack of communication between her & her DH... I am thinking there is an ethnicity.
No way on earth would any of my Indian friends eat anything so disgusting! That's like what a clueless white girl does with Indian spices.
Anonymous wrote:Okay, this is a NP but I am now becoming concerned about my habit of using canned salmon to make salmon croquettes, which I fry! I swear it's in multiple recipes (see, e.g., http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/basic-salmon-croquettes). Salmon is not tuna, but it is a canned fish that I have been frying forever. Am I now painted with the same brush as OP? Should I keep this practice a secret from friends and coworkers?
The good news is that I have never made them in the morning, or while wearing work clothes, and I am very punctual

If this guy was driving fast dangerous...that's a real scary problem.
I was in the same boat, and I can only suggest...make a plan and get rid of him. That's a disturbed person your bigger problem.

I say "honey, just buy lunch today, one day is not going to break the bank." It's like he can't understand how to alter his routine, MUST MAKE SALAD.
Every morning? How hard is it to make a few days' worth of salads at one time?
