I know a few older dads, and if I become one I'll be thrilled. I did most of the diaper changes with the kids from my first marriage. It's not that difficult or time-consuming to change a diaper.

Dads in mid 50s and above with babies look ridiculous. And not just ridiculous but socially irresponsible and selfish. Older male genes bring much higher risk of serious mental illness, autism, and other disorders. Mostly it just seems like a pathetic attempt to remain relevant and to prove your manhood, with the children bearing the cost of having 75 -year-old dad's when they're graduating from high school. These guys think they are proving something but real men at that age should be stepping into their role as grandfathers.

That’s great you are so broody but most people don’t want to do it in retirement. Life is short I want to see the world and kids are a serious responsibility limiting your choices

The younger woman isn't as pretty as my mother is though. My dad just wanted sex because my mom wouldn't give him any after his cheating

Well my dad married a younger woman for the second time + left my mom after 50 something years of marriage but the younger woman is cheating on my dad and she is just there for his money and to support her two kids.

Lots of people on this board seem to suffer from thinking they have not aged but everyone around them has. I am married and have no skin in the game here. Most middle aged people look the same to me - like we are actual age.

You can’t be serous because I’m a woman who is taking care of myself (19 BMI good hair pretty face) and most men my age on the apps are 9 months pregnant in mid 40s.
My exH is ugly like f..k and I didn’t want to sleep with him, exiting marriage. He’s dating an ugly 39 yo woman with 2 young kids. She’s only 6 years younger than me but sleeps with him cause she can’t afford nice vacations otherwise. He has a huge mansion and takes women out for nice meals.

In my circles, I see women marrying slightly younger men, not men marrying significantly younger women. I don’t think it happens nearly as much as it did or as much as some in this board would have you believe.
