+1 million. Women love to tear other women to shreds if they disagree with their sexual choices. It's always best to find out the individual stories of others before you attack them, and focus all that energy on helping victims of sexual trafficking- which is terribly rampant, especially underage trafficking, . Some women choose to strip or engage in prostitution. If you're a true feminist, you can disagree with another woman's actions but still allow them that choice without degradation.

I think you're underestimating the security presence at strip clubs.
This. (OP here.) The club has a strict no phone policy that's stringently enforced.
So, what do they do to prevent it from happening? How is it handled if someone is caught breaking the rules?
BTW, I was a feature stripper for six years in the 90's, so I have familiarity with the industry. I'm curious about how clubs are handling the challenges of technology.

You can actually earn money with many professions that are not so degrading. In addition, this is a limited career- after a certain age- you have nothing. Have you considered this very realistic scenario?
Not the OP. Have you considered reading the thread (it's not that long) to determine whether the answers you seek have already been provided? (Hint - they have.)
13 pages is long so no i haven't- i'll just bow out on this thread since in many ways- I just don't give a shit is someone doesn't give a shit about themselves (stripper).
TL;DR she works at a non profit (so little income) and strips to provide a college fund for her dc's. Ironically considers herself above prostitution.
Even if I were a prostitute, would that justify disrespect on your or anyone else's behalf? To echo other posters, I find it funny that many women consider themselves feminists - but only in regard to certain types of women (e.g. not sex workers).

The OP's experience is indeed her personal experience as she represents it, but it's anecdotal.

It isn't that long, this thread has been educational. You should read the whole thing. Some responses are a few lines, so it a quick read.
