On Walking Dead, I don't think our main characters are even afraid of walkers anymore. It's other people that are the problem. Helloooo, Terminus?

Not for homes- I'd lay them end-to-end for a 10 foot high wall. All we'd need is a heavy duty forklift to move them around. You could also stack them in a 2-by-1 pyramid for a very high, easily defendable wall to protect against human incursion.

Then take a semi truck, weld sheet metal to one side (protect the cab and prevent walkers from going under) and you've got a simple, movable door.

My choice of hand weapons would be a mountain climbing ice axe or a Lobotomizer- a 2 foot hand shovel with axe blades added just below the shovel.

I always think bad humans are more worrisome than the zombies, at least the ones on WD. The zombies are pretty dumb... they don't climb stairs, know how to turn a door knob, etc.. It's the bad guys you have to worry more about.

Anyone else ever wonder why they don't head for the shore and then live and travel by boats? Water would make a good defense against the walkers. As would living on a small island. Hell, I would think if they went north to to New England or upstate NY, there would be less people and I would think the walkers would freeze during the winter.

So if there is a zombie uprising, please feel free to join me on my boat as we sail up to an island in Lake Champlain.

They are not alive so they can't freeze to death. They don't feel. I would think the cold would slow down the decomposing.

Flesh, even dead flesh, will freeze solid. Then like little bunny foo-foo you can skip through the town bopping them on the head.

Agree. If it's bacteria that causing the zombie "disease" it should freeze too.

Actually the show has been very careful about NOT showing too many kids die. There have been a few (the sisters that Carol and Tyrese were taking care of; the governors daughter; and the kid in the very first episode with Rick (I may be missing one or two...) But otherwise it is not a normal occurrence.

Carol's daughter. They spent an entire season looking for her and she was locked up in the barn with the other walkers.

Nope- he said it was sad when the baby actors aren't around anymore because they swap out different sets of twins throughout the seasons. Chandler (the actor) gets attached to the baby actors. I did not infer that he said Judith is going to die.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put "spoiler alert" in your posts if you're gonna talk about what happens in the comics!

Agreed. But again- the general story of the comics has been followed but not the fates of specific characters.

Two examples:
- in the comics, Lori and baby Judith are shot and killed by the Governor's crew in the prison siege.
- in the comics, Tyrese is beheaded by the Governor right before the siege and Michonne kills his animated zombie head (with a tear in her eye).

My guess (based on the comics) is that a horde breaks thru the walls (maybe Rick lets them in to prove a point?), Koral will get shot in the face, and Pete is faced with the moral dilemma of saving his life. Cliffhanger.

I doubt we see Negan yet, they've been milking the storylines and my guess is the Saviors are a year off. Wolves = Scavengers.
