What more information, exactly, do you need? Are you blind or just ignorant to past events. There was a shooting...at the Zoo...on Easter Monday...not the first time this has happened. What more information do you need?
The shooting was not at the zoo.
The people involved in the shooting were in Woodley Park for the purpose of attending Easter Monday at the zoo. You can go back and forth about this all you want. Anyone who lives in WP can tell you that there is almost no reason for teens who don't live in the neighborhood to hang out across the street from the zoo, unless they're planning to enter or already leaving the zoo! Good grief, people.

There's a reason for that idiot. Try not embarrassing yourself.
Oh right I forgot Ward and June Cleaver just love them some colored folk culture and would be first in line to spend the day frolicking with all the Negroes if it weren't for the potential threat of violence. STFU you embarrassing your damn self with that sad rationale.

Well, for instance, before cancel lim an event that has been held for more than 100 years you might want to confirm that the shooting was connected to the event. Right now, we don't' know the shooter, the motive, or other important facts.

Unlike DC and Easter Monday, Detroit has actually controlled and reduced the number of arsons on Devil's Night. While still an issue, it's not nearly as bad as it was in the 80s and 90s.

Stop acting stupid. "What community?" Another example of folks not taking responsibility for their actions.

The city that used to burn on the night before Halloween as mischief-makers torched abandoned buildings has largely doused its Devil's Night by mobilizing tens of thousands of citizens and law-enforcement personnel each year to patrol city neighborhoods.
"It's unfortunate of course that we have to do this, but this is the hand we're dealt," said Luther Keith, executive director of ARISE Detroit!, a coalition of community groups hoping to keep Detroit safe from fires and vandalism around Halloween.
At its peak in 1984, 810 fires were reported in Detroit from Oct. 29 to 31, fueled by, among other things, Devil's Night's growing notoriety and the city's large number of abandoned buildings.
But the number of blazes has dropped - 147 fires were reported last year for the three days ending Oct. 31, up from the 113 reported in 2006 and 121 in 2005.
That's in part thanks to volunteers and law enforcement officials who patrol neighborhoods and monitor abandoned buildings starting the night of Oct. 29, part of what has been called Angels' Night since the 1990s.
[ snip ]
About 35,000 volunteers have signed up with the city for this year's Angels' Night, and about 50,000 people will volunteer, said Daniel Cherrin, a spokesman for Mayor Ken Cockrel Jr. The city also imposes a youth curfew and takes other preventative measures.
