I'd absolutely love to live in a decent-sized townhouse with a fenced backyard (for the dog) on Lee Street in Old Town with a view of the water. Plenty of shops, businesses, and restaurants within walking distance. I'd probably actually prefer OT to Georgetown.
Townhouse living is for the poors, this ain't nyc

The people are SO nice, the area is beautiful, and it's easy to get to downtown off hours. I love it so much that if we ever won the lottery, we wouldn't move to Georgetown like I had always envisioned- instead, we'd get a house lakeside in Reston! Thankfully, most of the mean posters on this board would never dream of moving out "so far".

WHY? I am wondering what people really think, and if it is accurate.
Big lots, great schools, easy drive to everywhere, pretty houses, nice neighbors, good community.
Wait for the haters, they'll be here soon.
