I'm a 29 year woman with a Masters and that sentence makes no sense to me, let alone a 4 year old. From a purely biological standpoint if you have a penis you are a man. This isn't about feelings this is about your biological "parts" and imposing your "feelings" of what and WHO you think you are onto others. And if anyone objects it turns into an issue of being "Homophobic" and a "Civil Rights Issue" REALLY?!?!? If you are PRE-OP you are a man and I cant see feelings; I see you penis in a women's only nude area. If you want to be a woman fine, do what you need to do to make that happen but the sense of entitlement that others should make an exception for you because in your head YOU feel like a woman is ludicrous!
Also "Black people were born black and can't do anything about that. Transgender people were born in the wrong body. They can either suffer (which apparently you advocate) or "switch" to their true gender." I FIRMLY believe in live and let live and this is NOT a civil rights issue when it comes down to OBVIOUS GENDER differences not racial. Discriminating based on skin color or ethnicity in a women's or men's gender specified area is a Civil rights issue; a biological man not being welcomed into a women's nude area are rules of the establishment for the comfort of ALL who patronize the business. If you don't like it don't go but stop whining about you not being accept for what you "feel".
What is your master's degree in, shitty writing? BA in digging up old posts?
But yet you commented. My Master is in Sociology from NYU since you were curious. I offered my opinion based on my research on Spa World and the conversation of males in the women's nude area. Further more this casual environment so a proper essay wasn't my intent. I see that I'm talking with a scholar from Troll U.
I was giving MY opinion on the most basic level (The human anatomy and if your in a nude setting how the anatomical difference WILL be noticed. NOT Social constructionism.) of the topic being disused in this thread. My bottom line is if you feel you are a man or a woman and you have the anatomy to match (Sexual reassignment) then you're good to go but to impose your "feelings" of what you believe you are onto others when by LAW and by anatomy you ARE the sum of your parts (Pun intended.) and recognized as such is unfair. The rest of the world should not be forced to "accept" that in YOUR mind you feel you are a man or a woman.
