I heard this year it's being called Flora Mendelovicz Singer Elementary School. It was sent in an email that only went to parents who have spent more than 1.33 (repeating) hours on the school premises. This way when someone asks to be buzzed in the office can tell how much effort they should put in to their response.

Well MY 3 year old is so super smart that she calls it Flora M. Singer ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Even my 4 year-old who isn't even old enough to go there yet properly calls it Flora M. Singer.

There are many ways to be responsive that are perfectly acceptable but some principals simply choose to be less accessible and responsive. We've had experience at three different
MCPS elementary schools and the principals all handled parent complaints differently. There are certainly rules that they have to follow but that doesn't mean that there are rules for every situation or that the principals are all the same. It is legitimate to say that one is preferred over another.
