I just find that unlikely. I believe she has either a) been made aware of it and has just chosen not to read it, b/c she wants to maintain her own sunny, blissful out look on "real simple" living and/or b) she has read it and is choosing not to reply, b/c she thinks it'll blow over, if she just lies low.
Shrug. Who knows. But that's just my two cents.![]()

We make over $200k and would never be able to afford that and I don't call myself frugal. We save money, eat cheaply, live cheaply, etc.
No you don't. If you really did you'd be able to afford it on your salary.
Not the pp you are responding to but have you considered that some people like to have DISPOSABLE INCOME!?! Sure pp could afford it on their HHI but they would have to cut back on other things. No one likes to be house poor and a slave to their mortgage.
Ok so they CAN afford it they just don't want to? See there's a difference. Also a banker and a lawyer only earning 200k? You need to find new firms.

I was trying to figure out what her blog reminded me of. It's that magazine. Pretty, simple but expensive and the money-saving 'tips' are things that I could never in a million years afford.

Or if she'll put the ol' ute back to work so she can 'have to stay home' for another few years.
